Adrian Sauer

Adrian Sauer, head of Evolonic's research group, is a distinguished expert in aviation power distribution systems with a focus on drivetrain and system integration. Sauer is a scientific researcher at Fraunhofer IISB in the department of aviation electronics, with a master's in mechatronics from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg. As project lead of the power distribution system, Sauer develops the high-voltage architecture of a 1MW hybrid electric ground demonstrator within the EU research project Clean Aviation Newborn which will be tested in 2025, setting a new milestone in electric aviation.
