Furqan is the CEO of Sora Aviation, a Bristol, UK based start-up developing a 30-seat eVTOL aircraft, the S-1. He holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He also Chairs the UK’s largest Advanced Air Mobility industry group (ADS AAM SIG) and formerly served as the Technical Authority for eVTOL aircraft at GKN where he led multiple electric, hybrid and hydrogen aircraft research programmes.”
