Hitendra Hirani

Dr Hitendra Hirani is the sales director and general manager at Nottingham Drives Specialist Services, part of the University of Nottingham. He has collaborated with industry on automated assembly systems and aerospace technology since the early 2000s. Hitendra has served on prominent regional, national and international boards, including the Clean Sky 2 Governing Board and Midlands Aerospace Alliance. Currently, he leads the Driving the Electric Revolution Industrialisation Centre Midlands, overseeing a US$50m power electronics and machines center with 170 staff and students. He also sits on the board of directors of the Midlands Aerospace Alliance, an industry cluster body with over 250 member organizations, focusing on the development of the aerospace supply chain in the Midlands.
